Sesame Oil Chicken


400 ml Cui Brand Sesame Oil, one free-range one-year-old chicken (about 0.75 kg), eight red dates, wolfberries 5g , sliced ginger (as needed), one bottle of rice wine and salt.



1. Clean and chop the chicken into pieces, then rinse with cold water to remove any blood. 
2. Add cold water, ginger slices, rice wine, and chicken pieces in a pot. Blanch until cooked, then remove and set aside. 
3. Add clean water to a bowl and continue rinsing the chicken. 
3. In another pot, pour 400 ml of sesame oil and use medium-low heat to sauté the ginger until fragrant and golden brown. Add the blanched chicken and stir-fry over medium heat until the chicken changes color. 
4. Add red dates and rice wine (you can use wine or add some water), and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. In the last 10 minutes, add wolfberries and salt. Serve when done.
